Covid-19 Update 10th December 2021

Following the recent government announcements regarding Covid-19 and the omicron variant, we need to let you know about changes to worship gatherings at St Mark's.

All our Christmas and Sunday services will continue as planned (unless further developments make this impossible or unsafe), with the following change:

  • It is now a legal requirement to wear a face mask in the church building.  This applies to everyone aged 11 and over, unless you are exempt.

Are there limits on numbers in church?
At present there are no limits on the number of people attending church.

Can we sing?
Yes, we are still able to sing - but please keep your mask on unless leading from the stage.

Do we need to show a Covid pass when coming to church?

Can we take Holy Communion?
Yes - we will continue to offer communion in one kind (meaning the bread only is distributed)

Will Groups still run?
Yes, groups such as the creche will still run, but adults will need to continue to wear masks in these areas.

Can we still provide teas and coffees?
