Currently Kids' Church will only be available for children in school years 2-6, Discoverers and Venturers groups. However, we will be planning events suitable for families with younger children. Please check our Coming Up page for events coming up. You will need to Save a Space for any children attending Kids Church. Tickets will become available at 9pm on Sunday, 7 days before the service you wish to book. You can do so through the event for the Sunday you're coming on.
No longer able to attend?
If you have already saved a space for Kids Church groups and your child can now no longer attend, please fill out the form below so that we can release your tickets to be booked by someone else.

Parents and Toddlers
Parents and Toddlers are looking forward to restarting in the hall in September but when large group gatherings are permitted outside, we hope to meet up in one of the parks. Information will be posted here on the St. Marks website and on the St. Mark's Facebook page
St Mark's is a place where we hope that your child will have fun, make friends and experience God at church!
We love all the children and young people that God brings our way, whether on Sundays or during the week. In partnership with families we want to model Gods' love for them and, encourage and provide opportunities to grow in their faith, share Jesus' love with others and grow in their gifts God has given them.
On Sunday mornings we all join together for family worship before the children & younger youth head to their groups. We have different rooms for our different age groups with each group having team leaders (who are all DBS checked).
On the first Sunday of every month we have an All-Age service - where all ages stay together in the service throughout with a theme and style that is accessible for children and adults. During Summer holidays there are also no kids groups- this is a time for all of our wonderful volunteers to have a break!
On arrival please do register your child/ren in the Hall. Do look out for our Kids' Church team leaders who are wearing bright blue t-shirts to welcome you!
CRECHE 0-3 yrs
Babies and toddlers have a space to play and be cared for by our dedicated leaders. Parents are welcome to leave their little ones with our leaders or stay with them!
EXPLORERS Nursery-Yr 1
Our preschool room is so much fun! On arrival our kids have creative free-play to help them settle in followed by an encounter time with God through fun worship, engaging Bible-stories and prayer. Then children have space to create a craft and play some more!
DISCOVERERS School Yrs 2-4
Our younger primary school aged children meet in the hall for games, snacks, worship and then split into small groups as they go deeper into the bible and respond by doing a creative activity. Then we leave some quiet time to chat & catch from God & use their prayer journals.
VENTURERS School yrs 5 & 6
Our older kids meet in the Upper room and we are so excited to be doing Kids' Church Alpha this term!!! Children get to ask questions and explore the Christian faith by watching a video and have discussions in their groups. We also leave time for them to encounter God through prayer and reflective worship music.
We would love everyone to feel welcome here at St Marks! If your family have any additional needs we would love to chat with you so we can find the best way to support you all. We understand that your first visit can be difficult, so please contact us before your visit!
Parents & Toddlers
Our Parent & Toddler sessions offer a fun, friendly and safe environment for children (from birth to 3 years) and their carers. Sessions run on Tuesdays 2-4pm and Wednesdays 9.15-10.45 and 11.00-12.15, except during school holidays. Each session involves play with age-appropriate toys, stories and action songs. Refreshments are always available!
Incredibles is a playgroup for babies and toddlers with special needs and their parents or carers.
It takes place every Friday morning during term time in the Church Hall, between 9.15 - 11.15am.
Each session we hope to create an environment where parents and children feel loved, valued and safe for play and relaxation.
It’s an opportunity to talk to other parents who may be bringing up a child/ren with special needs, while enjoying coffee and cake. The toys are all imaginatively chosen to the needs of the children and our friendly, dedicated team (who are all DBS checked) look forward to welcoming you and your child!
There will be a number of special events and parties throughout the year especially dedicated for children - take a look at our What's On page for all events that are coming up.
Contact our Children's Pastor Jenny if you have any questions or for more information.
We cant wait to see you!
