Church Governance

St Mark's is lead by an elected council, the PCC.

On this page, you can find information about this group and key policies and documents they have created

About the PCC

Our PCC is made of Vicar, 2 Church Wardens, 3 Deanery Synod reps, and 12 elected representatives.

Any member of the electoral roll can stand for election to a 3 year term, and the recommended maximum number of consecutive terms is 3. This election takes place every year at our Annual Church Meeting (mid-May)

The PCC meets 7 times a year and can bring up business from any area of church life.
